Stan James link broken - cannot register?
my first post and thread.
I've tried the link for SJ but it doesn't seem to find the right page when i click 'register'. Will this affect the tracking of a cashback claim?
Hello and welcome zenee!
It seems to work here. Have you tried different browsers?
The Gambling Times | StanJames, Reviewed By The Gambling Times | Claim Cashback
When I click "Join" I get taken here: Pick up your £25 free bet today. | StanJames.com
And clicking "join" takes me to the registration page just fine.
After clicking join...
I can get to the registration page - but when you click register I come to a page saying:
The page you're looking for can't be found.
This may be because you have typed the web address incorrectly...
I've tried with safari and firefox.
I see. It appears that when joining through the TGT link you get taken to http://www.stanjames.com/account/Register.asp
but if you try to click the "Register" link directly from stanjames.com, then you get taken to
The difference being that the second link takes you to a registration page that uses SSL (it has the HTTPS instead of HTTP in the link).
I don't think it will matter and that the cashback will still track as you should have the TGT cookie as long as you have not clicked on any SJ banners on other sites. If you can wait a little while I am sure someone will come along to say whether or not it is ok. If you don't want to wait then I will get you the £5 anyway provided you meet the applicable terms and conditions otherwise.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
It works for me, sorry for the inconvenience, just join I will make sure it is credited to you. (Im 99% it would have anyway, but I will add it even if it hasnt since you asked specificly).
Have a plan and stick to it
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having trouble with this (or a first time poster).
I know this thread's a week or so old but I'm still having trouble with it
Has anyone managed to register through the link recently?
I'll try the https method.
Edit: Worked like a charm. Thanks Nintendo2k.
Aaaah was becoming mildly frustrated after disabling the popup blocker in Firefox, trying to register twice and failing despite speaking to live support.
https worked fine, hope it tracks!
