    OK, So spot the problem...

Was playing at Boyle's skill today to get the sign up bonus, and encountered the following game - anyone else experienced stuff like this?

I've always had my doubts about that rookiebot.

Prize goes to bella. I've played on quite a few sites and although they stress that the bots are supposed to have no advantage, it's amazing what they pull out of the bag. Combine that with the obvious 20/21 error in the hand above, I've come to the decision that the software is definitely not as fair as they advertise. Still, the £20 signup bonuses on many sites still offer good value even when you can't win 50% of the games.

Me to. I was having a play on WH against rookiebot and the amount of times he would start with say 12-16 and then draw to 20-21 was silly. Added to the fact you have to pay a rake for the game and it all screams fiddle. These types of games must be a goldmine for the books.

I hope you've emailed boyles and/or the software provider? Thats an odd error, I dont think its them trying to cheat you as a)too obvious b)you woulda lost that hand anyway (even before the bot split)

    Very odd though

Yeh I have, not sure what will come of it, as you said it wouldn't make a difference to the result. Will report back when/if I hear anything.

Well, boyles got back to me:

"...Further to my recent contact with you, our Skill games manager wishes to thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would also like to reassure you that it is be investigated by the game developers and it appears to be a graphical issue caused by the splitting of hands in certain situations this would not affect the true settlement of hands...."

They have refunded me my stakes as a goodwill gesture which I'm very pleased with and wasn't expecting.

I had a bit of a problem with Baldy once on games, I was playing a slot and it was one where you can retrigger free spins whilst in free spin mode. Well this one wasn't adding them.

I took it up with them but ended up with a £10 goodwill gesture which was crap because it missed adding them 3 times over various sessions. They were 20 spins per retrigger too so Christ only knows what I missed out on. Of course I was f**ked.

Needless to say I never play there again.

They simply flat refused to believe me when I insisted there was a fault with the software. You did well to get stakes refunded mate so props to Boyles for doing that. Of course you had a bona fide screen grab to prove it, for me to prove I would have to taken a whole series of grabs in very quick succession and even then it wouldn't be as clear cut.

I used to play on Paddy Power on the player games a lot, usually the dice game called "Poker dice". It was funny how i got a full house, then the bot would get a full house, then i would get four of a kind then they would get four of a kind.

I can even remember starting a few games against the bot when it scored 5 of a kind and then 4 of a kind and then full house in its first 3 rolls.

I don't mind losing money when gambling because i expect it, but it's obvious these bots are programmed to win. So i stick to betting on sports instead of playing these games.
