This isn't really a major problem or complaint, just something that is increasingly irritating me. I would welcome any comments/views.
Due to me no longer having a Moneybookers account (long story) I made two deposits by Neteller to my account last year, £10 in June and £21 in August. Since then I have always used my Visa card to deposit, 10 deposits totalling over £230, costing me 1.5% every time. I prefer to do this as I try not to use Neteller if possible - I imagine I made the deposits from there initially just to get rid of some funds. Ever since I made the initial Neteller deposit my withdrawal method has changed to Neteller, and Betclic refuse to alter it. I have so far had to make 5 withdrawals to Neteller totalling over £250, despite only ever depositing c£30.
I have queried this with them a number of times, and always get the same response. First they ask me to forward details confirming my Neteller account is closed. I respond saying it isn't closed, but as I haven't deposited via that source I want to withdraw using the card I deposited with. They reply near enough saying that the current withdrawal method will never change, as per their conditions. I respond that their conditions as far as I can tell only state that they reserve the right to return funds to Neteller up to the amount deposited, and also that as far as I am aware it is normal practice to return funds to the source they came from. They then don't reply, and it starts over again.
As I said this isn't really a great problem, but their responses to my legitamate query are increasingly getting on my nerves. Any way to make them see sense, or am I in the wrong?
Must admit i've always used Moneybookers @ Betclic and never had a problem, in fact their withdrawals are quicker than most other books.
Would it be worth asking if you zeroed your balance could your payment method be amended? If they're not answering emails maybe try live chatting them. I was gonna maybe even suggest ringing them, but can't see a phone number on their site. Often when dealing with CS half the battle is getting to speak to someone that knows what they're doing, as opposed to reading a script!
Lay it on a bit thick - tell them you want to use them more but this problem is stopping you, and driving you towards the competition.

Thanks for the response Mariner. I never had any problems when I had a Moneybookers account either . Every time I've withdrawn I've zeroed my account, but nothing changes - I pay in by Visa and am forced to withdraw by Neteller. Have tried e-mail numerous times and live chat and get the same response or lack of it. As I said it's not actually a real problem, just a big annoyance as I think they're wrong to do insist on doing this, but can't get anything sorted about it .
I have exactly the same problem. I made couple of deposits with NT and withdrawal with NT because I couldn't deposit with MB for some reason. Afterwards I did all my other deposits with MB.
I told them I wanted to change my withdrawal method to MB (my NT is in $) but they refused (even after I zeroed my balance and made a new deposit with MB). After many emails I said they could close my account if they didn't want to change my withdrawal method and they said they would after I had withdrawn my balance
So they will rather close your account than change your withdrawal method.
They told it was because of their licence but that is a lie because every other Maltese licensed casino doesn't do this
I've queried this with them before. I have just accepted that they can't be bothered altering my withdrawal method. Like you, it's no biggy.
