188bet - limits much lower than before

    Dear friends here at TGT,

anyone else discovered much lower limits at 188bet lately?
My account is about 20k down, haven't used it for about a month now, but now even on major soccer leagues as Serie-A in Italy for instance or German Bundesliga or even Premierleague in UK the limits are just lousy - for instance €1100@1,48 ManU vs. Everton - some weeks ago there were limits around 10x higher!!!
Lower leagues now around 165€ per bet

    Thanks for your info!

Just had a quick look, and like you say limits do seem low - £1,000 max on Man U @ 1.48 here, and only about £150 on some Championship games with odds around evens!

Yep, max win of £490 on Prem League and max win of £147 on nearly everything esle.

EDIT: Those limits are on 1X2 odds.

I can get more on AH sometimes. It's pretty random actually... try looking at your max win on Man U Ah's. Some will be as high as £800 some as low as £300. Sometimes the win limits on different sides of the same AH are different!

Yep, lower limits, same as others have reported. You may be able to do several bets on the same selection as is possible with other Asian bookmakers. Disappointing all the same. If someone has experience with repeat bets then please let us know. I've not arbed 188bet or used them that much and this may well be a 'UK thing'.

The limits tend to go up towards begin of an event, but usually they are crap now for arbing! (non UK here!)

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago. On Championship games, it used to be standard to be able to get a couple of grand on any line. This is now down to a couple of hundred until a few hours before kick-off, and sometimes doesn't even increase nearer to kick-off.

I contacted customer services and got the usual spiel about limits being dependent on numerous criteria, constantly updated, blah blah.

It's not a good sign as far as I'm concerned, and my use of 188bet has dwindled with the limits. I can't be bothered to check odds with them when I know there's a good chance they won't take the amount I need to bet. Everything goes via SBO now.

Anyone know of another Asian with good limits to give me an alternative back-up to 188? 12Bet and Mansion both cut limits and became useless too.

Dafa have the same odds as M88 & 12Bet, but their limits are much higher - £1,000 on most things. They also have a decent sub, and a weekly offer worth £14 - £15.

Samvo also have decent odds and limits and afaik still a small sub.

Also SBO I have always found to have very good limits/very quick payouts/good security as well (only place I know that forces you to change your password once a month which is no bad thing IMO!) - would rate them up there with 12bet/188bet (actually better than 188bet IMO).

Well, Dafabet didn't last very long.

Took the £350 bonus, leaving me with a £31,000 wager rate. Limited after a week and a half to £100. Had a rant at customer services about moving the goalposts and they put my limit back up to £1000. The following weekend I was back down to £200 limits, and they wouldn't budge on putting it back up.

Apparently they suspected me of arbing. I thought the whole point of Asian bookies was that their odds automatically move with the market so they don't have to limit like UK bookies?

I managed to scrape through the WR with paltry bets but I'm out now and won't be going back. Another pointless book (apart from the nice bonus of course).
