Problem with Extreme and Talksport prepaid cards

Saw this on MSE, checked a withdrawal I made yesterday at Fred and its been returned to my account.

"Tried to make a withdrawal to a Talksport card. Was told it could not be processed. Spoke to customer support who said they were aware of the problem that has existed for a couple of days.

Apparently due to a software update withdrawals back to cards are currently being processed as withdrawals from the card. This is the case for Talksport and Extreme and possibly others.

They said they would call me when the problem is solved.

To be clear if you request a withdrawl from a bookie it will not be processed at the momnet and you might well end up depositing instead."

If you have a card you might want to call the issuer to check the progress.

Spoke to Talksport today, they dont appear close to resolving the current withdrawal issue. Most of the bookies seem aware of the problem and quiet happy to sned the funds back to the card by bank transfer.
