It probably would take the as long. Thousands of person had been promoted, and in the worst case scenario they had run out of tokens. If the new tokens came branded "Skrill" this was the sittuation (they would not trow away the old tokens).

If you were in the top vip levels the situation probably would be different, but discuss the customer relation is not the point of this inquiry.

My token is here now (branded moneybookers for hazard's benefit)

Just a tip though - they refer to the number code as a password, and the accompanying letter goes on to say "once activated you will need your token to generate a one time password for every login". This isn't actually the password on the main page, but a code you need on a second page after the one that normally appears. In error, I used my token code as a "pasword" on the usual screen - this was invalid, but it did warn me that this doesn't meet their password strength criteria, and it didn't seem to count as an invalid logon attempt (i.e. no email received)

Do you get an email usually when someone makes an invalid login attempt? I didn't think you did but must admit haven't done it recently!

Another thing you can do to secure your account is lock your account down to just your IP address - obviously only works if you only use Skrill from a dedicated IP address (and admittedly the majority of broadband UK addresses are not static / fixed IP addresses either), but definitely worth doing if you fit that criteria.

Yes, if you put in your incorrect password you get an e-mail:

We would like to inform you that a failed login attempt has been made on your Moneybookers account. You now have 3 more login attempt(s) left before your account is locked for security reasons.
If you put in the incorrect code from your security token you do not AFAIK.
