    Bet-at-home.com - ID verification complaint

    Hello dear gamblers.

I need to warn you from scam site bet-at-home.com

I have registered on their promo, deposited money, won some money, took out some money, but on the second payout they locked my account, required ID, I provided ID, and they wanted more and more, wanted driver's license and passport.
They told me "get passport" but on my question, who will pay the fee, they did not answer. How pathetic.
Both of them will take much time and most of all, MONEY.

Why would I buy/get something I do not need ?!

Why they did not lock my account BEFORE I send them my money ?!

What would you do on my place?

from almost 50Eur per one share to 20 Eur per share and keep falling down.

co-insidence? or are they runing out of cash ?
(investors wont be very happy for wining customers, even tho math says no customer shall be wining in long term at any point what so ever)

such a bullish chart tells me one thing
    1. their marketing department are peace of students
    2. somebody tries to launder something on that chard or is a enthusiast in rock climbing

    Hello,

Gaming sites require you to verify your ID to ensure that you aren't a scammer/fraudster/criminal. Either a driving licence or a National ID card or a passport are REQUIRED to play and receive a payout at the majority of gaming sites. You need to get one of those items at least (and additionally you will require either a bank statement or utility bill with your name and address on them).

Gaming sites generally will ask you for two forms of identification - one to verify your address and one for your identity. Usually the following should suffice:

    1. Identity verification - one of:
      • Passport
      • National Identity Card
      • Driving Licence
    2. Address verification - one of:
      • Utility bill (water/electricity/gas/telephone bill)
      • Bank Statement
      • Lots of other types of address verification methods usually, ask the gaming site.
(some of these items can qualify as both id and address verification documents (ie in the UK driving licence can be classed as both ID and address verification), though generally you will be required to provide at least two items of verification sufficient to provide verification of your address and identity/name)

I am sure this is probably what they have asked you for - either a driving licence or passport for ID verification and also a bank statement or utility bill for address verification. I would just give them what they need, they aren't known as a rogue gaming site, so you should be fine if you supply what they require.

I forgot to add, I am in this online gaming shii.. for quite some year, and yes, I am aware of the fact, they do need to verify the customer, but I did send a proper copy of the ID (back and front, colorful, high-res)

They did not say OK or not OK.

They wanted another document, but what if I do not hold any other document?

But they clearly have some hidden agenda. I was polite, but it has no more point anymore.

[edit]But I do play fair, I do protect the rules and if any one tries to obey them, I'd like to shot someone. I can no more recommend this gaming site to any one, because I can not afford to send any one (even some random guy over the Internet) to trap, that is not in my nature, I play by rules, but lately, no one cares about rules, eg: big companies, oil/gas/power companies, gaming companies. No one ever declined my ID.[/edit]

Don't get me wrong, but this thread is quite a joke. Like it or not, any gaming site has the right to lock your account and to ask you for any specific ID (including passport) to process a withdrawal request.

With all due respect, Sim please calm down and understand you are going to get a LOT of angry people from the forum shouting you down if you continue with the attitude you have shown so far.

It is NOT unreasonable for a gaming site to ask you to verify your ID - and on the contrary in fact it sounds as though YOU are a scammer by refusing to provide the ID they request.

I can appreciate that you might think that it is wrong for a gaming site to allow you to deposit and bet without providing any ID, but then when you come to withdraw suddenly put barriers in your way. Unfortunately that is the way it is in the online gaming industry - generally you WILL be allowed to deposit / gamble without having to provide ID but if you want to withdraw then you WILL have to provide ID.

Please read my post above before you reply again.

    I understand BUT
I simply can not make up passport, I am not a magician.

And why would I pay >120 Eur for a passport I will trash away after I scan it?

Do you people like dictatorship ?

I can travel with my national ID card anywhere in the EU, but bet-at-home makes me look like criminal ?! How come we allow them to do this ?

Can they ask for my sperm sample ? I am asking this seriosly, no jokes. because if you are saying "any ID they want" I have to provide, in that case, one day, they might ask for sperms...

please, do take this post more-like fun, but with all seriousity. In 2006, we had no byro and dict like this(!) How come we need one now ?

Unless they can prove I cheated them, they can not call me scammer, as well I can not call them scammers, right. BUT. this seems like dead-end.

This lacks the theory of physics, they make their own laws!

"you lose? we do not give a slightest poo, you lose, even if you are 6 yrs old kid"
"you win? well, ID1, ID2, sperms, please, Sir, or you are not going to see any winnings, nor deposit, we have all the right in the World and Universe (even alternative) itself, we are God's your lame decision to trust us with your deposit"

or am I wrong here ?

How much do they pay out?

If you don't like it, don't read it. That rule should apply anywhere.

Remember, if noone here would post, I would have no reason to post here too.

You are giving me a reason to post, I just wanted to warn people. I did it. If anyone thins this is waste of time and place, be my guest to delete this topic. I hope next victim of bet-at-home will be written on your soul, not mine, my job is done.

Anyway, karma will get em all, sooner or later.
