I have had a withdrawal from Tomwaterhouse of just over 1k dollars . when this hit my bank account 3 days after requesting it , I got paid the same amount in euros so that was a bonus i wasn't expecting.

Global Sports Bet were taken over by Sports Acumen - who then changed their name to Sports Alive.

I haven't got an option to withdraw. Is that because I need to send in ID? What did they need do you know?

I emailed them about verifying ID (tried the 'verify' link on the account page first but it had an error). I got a reply saying:
Please find attached the Customer Identification Procedure (CIP) Form you need to complete for identity verification purposes. Please complete sections 1, 3 and 4. The checking officer in section 4 needs to be an acceptable referee. Please see the attached ‘Categories of Acceptable Referees’ form to see who can sign as a checking officer.
Furthermore if you could please send us 100 points of ID, including evidence of your Name, DOB and address.
Once complete please return via email to this email address or via fax to 03 9370 7250.
There were 2 attached pdf files, one containing the CIP form and the other the list of suitable referees (doctors/lawyers/teachers/etc/etc).
So... at that point my heart sank a bit cos of the hassle of having to get that sorted... but I figured I'd ask them if UK Post Office certified documents would be acceptable (just on the off chance), so sent them scanned copies of the last lot of certified ID I got from the PO back in May 2010 (so well over a year old now!).
I didn't expect a response to be honest (bloody Euro bookmakers make you so cynical like that ), but was amazed when they replied the next day to say my account had been verified OK!!! Fantastic news.
Am hoping this isn't jinxing it now and I'll login or scroll down through my list of emails and find another email from them saying '... actually ...' (just logged in now though and there's no 'verify' option in my account so presume that means it's been verified OK!)
Re withdrawals though, withdrawal option is visible now for me on the banking page (must admit it might have been there before though, I didn't check). I imagine I probably need to deposit first via one of the payment methods before being able to withdraw (though maybe they'd do it via bank transfer without depositing first). I will probably turn the balance over once though first, seems the least I can do given they've been good enough to rescue the balance (well, part of it) that I thought I'd never see again.
That said though I need to get it converted to GBP first if I can, will email them about it now I think.

See that's what you get by emailing support, they fix things.
