Ladbrokes refusing to admit they are wrong (Again)

    Hey all

This weekend I did the Ladbrokes games offer on virtual sports. This for Ladbrokes was the final straw and they have locked my gaming wallet. I don't have a problem with this, but they locked it with some funds in it, and have got them selves in a muddle over giving them back to me. The funds are not bonus funds and they are not derived from bonus funds, they are entirely made up of cash deposits.

On the 3rd of Sept I transferred £20 and later £79 to my games wallet, I then transferred £20 back to my main wallet. My gaming losses on the 3rd of Sept were £3.30. Therefore at the close of business I had £75.70 in my games wallet. I did not withdraw this money, although I am beginning to wish I had. At some time on the 4th my games wallet was locked with the funds in. Later that day £75.70 was transferred from my main wallet to my games wallet, not by me as I don't have access to the games wallet. This would have taken my games balance to £151.40. There is then a transfer from my games wallet back to my main wallet of £75.70, again not actioned by me, leaving £75.70 still in my locked games wallet.

Ladbrokes are claiming that the £75.70 they transferred from my games wallet to my main wallet is the money that was locked in. If that's the case why did they first transfer £75.70 in to my games wallet? They have borrowed money from me to pay me back what they owe me. The attached screen shot has been modified to remove identifiers and irrelevant transactions, but you'll see the point

Despite three emails from me Ladbrokes are insistent that I have had my money back. I have sent 1 last email, spelling out exactly what has happened and then I may have to consider my options.

I think this is the sort of problem you can come across when dealing with any large organisation - the bigger the firm, then generally the worse the customer service. The key thing is to talk to someone who is both helpful and knows what they're doing. All i can suggest is maybe ask to speak to a manager / supervisor. If you're still struggling, then you could always pm that guy who works for Ladbrokes (cant remember his name, but he posted in the "who are you and where are you from thread") and see if he could give you contact details for someone that's likely to understand and help!

Cheers guys. Got an email late last night saying they would get a manager to look at it today.

I think the problem stems from never having the same CS representative receive your email, so there is no coherency on their part. Hopefully have this sorted out by tomorrow, fingers crossed

Got a very apologetic email from manager accepting they had made a mistake and the money has now been refunded to my sports account.

All's well that ends well I supose

Actually, again no massive thing but .. about six months ago I withdrew about £120 from laddies. I dont usualy check but, for some reason, I was looking at my bank statement for something else and noticed a payment to Ladbrokes but couldnt see a receipt.

I contacted CS and they said there had been a glitch and theyd send it now!

In years of doing this malarky, this has only ever happened to me twice (once with caigames and this with laddies) and both this year!

Id recommend always checking you get your withdrawals from them as they are, at best, prone to error.
