    Betfair Multi's. Be Warned

If I start anymore threads moaning about CS then I may over take Teabee as the biggest moaner on here

Anyway, re: The Betfair Tennis Multi's offer. I placed a bet on the 31st of Aug. I was very careful to read the T&C's with regard to legs and odds. The multi had odds of 3.02 with 4 legs in it. This is the only multi I have placed requiring a refund as the rest have either won or had 2 losses.

Yesterday I contacted BF as I hadn't had the refund. I got a reply saying I hadn't had the refund because 1) I didn't opt in until the 1st of sept and 2) My multi didn't meet the minimum criteria for the offer

Point 1 is of no interest to anyone but I thought it worth pursuing point 2 further so I logged in to my BF account and found the Multi bet I had placed on the 31st, checking the odds displayed as 3.02. I took a screenshot of the bet

    Account Screenie.JPG

and emailed it back to CS, trying it on saying if the promotions department can't get this right, how do I know they have the date of my opt in correct. The reply is the reason for my post, as I'm sure some of you will find this interesting

Please be advised that I have raised your query with the promotions team again. They have looked in to your query and have confirmed that the odds of the multiple are in fact 2.98.

As you can see from your attachment, the odds displayed are average odds, from our calculations your multiple odds were actually 2.98 which is under the criteria for this promotion.

So even on a fixed priced multi such as Tennis and footie, the odds you see AFTER you have placed your bet are not necessarily the odds you get. The moral of the story, don't bet just over the minimum odds !

That is very odd indeed, if your average odds were 3.02 you would have had some over 3.02, that's BS matey from them.

    Sorry slightly OT

If I wanted to lay 2 teams at BF ( I cant ever find accas ) I do select, back them, change to lay, then select Double x1 not single x2. Am I correct eg if either team loses I get paid out?

    Hope question makes sense......

    Thanks.

Yes that's correct, it means you want 1x double bet laying (if you went for 2x then that would indicate you want to lay 2 single bets).

Agreed. If there is something new that we want to do, better verify it first or there will be consequences.
