    Bet-at-home cancel withdrawal without explanation

Ok this is not as bad as the title sounds perhaps and I admit is my fault up to a point. But Bet-At-Home didn't go out of their way to communicate effectively about the problem and it was only when I looked into it myself that I found out what the problem was.

What happened was I'd deposited an amount of money into Bet-at-home earlier in the year and had completely forgotten about it. 9 months later I noticed the money was in the account and went to withdraw. After a week the withdrawal still hadn't arrived so I went to check my account and noticed it had been cancelled.

At that point I checked my records and realized what had happened (I hadn't rolled the deposit over at least once), so I bet through the deposit amount once and then requested another withdrawal a week or so later and the payment was made - overnight to be fair.

We all know that gaming sites aren't the most helpful when it comes to withdrawing your money from them (how many sites make you search quite hard to find the withdrawal page - or at least don't put it on the home page when at the same time the deposit page is usually VERY prominent?), this is another example of a gaming site not going out of the way to be helpful when it comes to withdrawals and cancelling a withdrawal without any kind of explanation at all.

-5 points though on the 'payments' and 'communication' categories on the Bet-At-Home ratings page for me though for lack of communication! (Please add your own ratings as well if you use BAH or ANY other sites!!! )

To be brutally honest, I think that it is more your responsibility than theirs! I dont think the official TGT rating will be going down on the back of it!
Have a plan and stick to it

I would rather have this happen than being charged a fee as most books do. I think that might be an automatic cancellation by the system and yes, it would have been nice for them to send an email explaining it. But it seems to me rather unfair to punish them at 2 categories. It's your opinion of course. By the way, I don't see "communication" on the ratings page, are you talking about "customer service"?
