    Titanbet palp

I had a strange experience with Titanbet over the weekend that I thought might be useful to share.

I placed a freebet on a Premier League HT/FT market on Friday of last week, for a match on Saturday. The odds were comparable with Betfair, not a perfect match, and certainly not an arb, but good enough. The bet lost at Titan, I won at Betfair, and all was well.

However, yesterday afternoon I received an email from Titan telling me the bet had been cancelled due to a palpable error, and the freebet returned to my account. On checking my account, the bet is listed as "lost" on the site, rather than "void" or "cancelled" as I would expect for a wager that had been palped. The bet was not out of line with other odds, and was clearly not a palpable error.

I have obviously benefitted from this situation, as I won my initial lay and have had the freebet returned, however if the bet had won at Titan, I would have been a few hundred pounds down.

In my opinion this is poor practice from Titan in that they not only palped a bet that clearly wasn't a palp, but also chose not to inform me of this until 48 hours after the event. This has made me rather wary of using them again, and I suggest that others tread carefully when wagering there.

Titan have started to garner a reputation for this, which is a shame considering their frequent small reloads.
You just need to ask yourself one question, do you feel lucky punk?....... Well do ya?

Got limited to £15 wins a few weeks back here, so I withdrew my few hundred pounds balance. Not worth the risk.

I placed a bet on a Grand Prix points finisher early saturday morning which was probably .2 higher than elsewhere. At the start of qualifying it was voided due to an 'incorrect price'. They could not stand the approx £50 liability which my bet might have cost them.

    Bunch of weasels.
