It said something along the line: wrong details, check provided data and try again. Needless to say data was correct (i.e. S/N number and one-time password).
You cannot re-register it. They replied to me with a ridiculously blaze response basically saying "we'll have a look at it sometime."
My sec token has just started working again.

Happened to me when I tried to register it and I got the same e-mail as someone earlier in the thread posted.
I am really disapointed by the response - I thought that becoming a VIP you got a better level of service.
Not the case apparently!!!

Well, the thing is... basically, everyone is a VIP nowadays (me included).
E-mail today saying token now works again. No explanation or apology.
I have sent another e-mail tonight as I have still not had any response from them.
I just received my token last weekend and it went funny when I tried to register it.
Will update you all when I get a reply.
