Victor Chandler - closed account

Placed a dutch bet with VC and sporting Bet tonight with the bulk of the bet being deposited with VC (£60)
I have just tried to log in to check the bet and got the prompt "Account closed"
I got in touch with their live chat and was told that the account had been closed by their traders because they didn't approve of my betting pattern!
I have probably placed less than half a dozen very small bets in VC over the past 6 months, this was by far the biggest
so how they establish a pattern God knows.
It also looks as if they have swallowed my £60 as well

Stand correected - just had an email from VC, they are going to honour this bet but my account is still closed!

Tried to log in yesterday for first time in a while. Got message account closed. Apparently closed yesterday. Wouldn't have known if I hadn't tried to log in!

Now 48 hrs since Victor Chandler closed my account without any prior warning and no explanation, just a rather snotty message to say that the traders decision was final.
Despite an email promising to honour the bet I had placed I am still waiting for the payment.
As these are a household name and not a fly by night operation I thought - obviously wrongly - that they were at the top end of the bookmaking reliability and honourability spectrum
Don't be fooled - they have turned out to be just as shady as any other back street bookie

It sounds like they've just closed your account and stated they will honour the bet/balance? Pretty standard affair from them to be honest and it's the email we'll all receive at some point! Mine came some time ago, paid out no probs.

Discovered today that my account was closed back in August last year. Can't remember exactly what I was doing back then, most likely I just won too many Beat Victors without depositing very much!

I didn't have a balance or any outstanding bets so there were no issues there.
