Incredible, I pointed out to Betfair how my free spins were worth a lot more than £30 as compensation for their game having an unknown error. I get this in return:
"We are contacting you in regards to your recent Casino issue.
Upon reviewing your complaint about the £30 goodwill credit our Casino Team have applied to your account, we can confirm that regrettably they are not willing to apply a higher amount as requested by yourself. This is because you had 13 spins wagering £1 per spin so £30 seems appropriate for this type of issue. As this is their final stance regarding the matter we consider this issue as resolved."
Would I complain to IBAS though since its the Casino? Would perhaps have to be the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority??
Did you point out how much you won from the first 17 spins?
Re what you say re who to complain to, I'm not sure, the dispute resolution link (in my post above) suggests IBAS:
But whether that is strictly for sports betting or not I don't know, later on it does mention LGA:
UK Registered Customers Betting Disputes - IBAS
If you have a betting or account transaction dispute, which you believe that Betfair has not satisfactorily resolved, you can approach IBAS
(The Independent Betting Adjudication Service). IBAS is a third party organisation offering independent adjudication in relation to betting and gaming disputes.
You may submit an IBAS adjudication form here
or contact IBAS at email@example.com
So whether your particular issue is best dealt with by IBAS/LGA I don't know. You can only ask them I suppose...
Non-UK Registered Customers and Maltese based products The Lotteries and Gaming Authority
If you have made a complaint to Betfair in relation to one of our Maltese licensed products and you feel that Betfair's final decision about your dispute was not dealt with satisfactorily, you can raise any unresolved dispute with the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
. The LGA have jurisdiction over Casino, Arcade, Exchange Games, Tote, Multiples and any non-UK registered customers using the betting platform.
If you're located in the UK then you could just complain to IBAS (since on Betfair's DR page / first quote above it does say 'UK based customers => IBAS')?

thanked for this post
You have to keep on and on at them, eventually someone with a brain will sort it out.
In this instance, they are just totally incompetant.
You know, for over 6 months they have advertised a weekly slots promo on the main casino page, when only table games count, and the date in th terms is wrong too. They are so thick they haven't even worked out to change it after more than 6 months.
They are just idiots, keep arguing with them.
"Kindly note that I am contacting you with regards to your recent issues with 13 free spins, which you did not receive from your bonus round. Betfair Casino has credited you with £30 regards this matter and this is our final resolution for you.
Our software is governed and regulated by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority Malta. If you wish to take this further then you will need to contact them regards this matter"
