I got my AVC (address verification code) this morning and entered it.
Then I telephoned them, after 3 tries I got through to someone called Chyrise. She confirmed that my address was now verified. So I asked her where my immediate payment was. She said it doesn't work like that. I said not according to the email I received a couple of days ago. Here is a copy.
Her response was that I shouldn't have been told that, but she could see on the system that I would be paid today. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she was the only one in the office, the rest of the team don't start until 11 am. I said I don't believe you, she then said listen can you hear anyone else in here? And went quiet for a few seconds. It was surreal, I can't believe only 1 person would be working in customer services department without a manager present. This company is a joke.

Once you have received your PVC code and have inputted the PVC code online, your payment can then be immediately processed. Thank you for your patience.

Somebody on their twitter feed is also reporting there is only 1 person in the office. He has been told to ring back at 5pm. I was told that they would ring me as soon as my payment was processed. So more inconsistent information.

Just phoned them again, and there are more liars answering the phones now.
You know what really winds me the most about dealing with these scumbags, is when you telephone them and they pretend like they have never heard about the withdrawal problems, like it’s all a major surprise to them. I normally feel sorry for the staff, but not this lot, they're cocky, you just know they're grinning at you on the other end of the phone. Does anybody else sense this?
This company needs to be shut down immediately, before anyone else gets fleeced.
PS. Has anyone been paid today? Or even heard anything about anyone being paid on other forums?

There was several reports of payments yesterday, someone on MSE got a full withdrawal through in only 8 days!

I think you could well be right, although someone on twitter said they spoke to someone an hour ago saying payment today still.

The non ring fencing customers funds was just a huge red flag, basically saying, if we go bust, we keep your money. It's what happened at Full Tilt Poker, the owners just took the money, and then when the crap hit the fan, they wouldn't/couldn't pay it back.
Finally someone else has their suspicions! Either this person is Betbutler and pardon me if not or your the worlds most guillable/optimistic person on the planet. I'm only waiting for £170 since mid March but after many emails, phone calls and letters there is no way I would EVER be saying anything positive about this company. And I only opened this account as it seems by far the best place to track the latest going-ons with these jokers. I don't even care about the money, just the principal and the fact that they are screwing people over with seemingly no consequences. If payment comes through I shall be using it to buy a new hat having eaten my last one....
