    winnings withheld

I won about £300 playing poker on a site, about £150 was by playing my friend online. When i went to withdraw it my account had been suspended, and had an email(my friend had one also) accusing us of money laundering/collusion. we fully cooperated with them, sending in i.d, hand written letters etc. Getting abit annoyed I phoned them up to ask what progress they had made, because every time i had emailed them they said they were still doing security checks. Anyway, when I spoke to them they said all the documents were approved and they were happy with it, although they had to wait for ipoker (the site runs poker through ipoker) for a response. Anyone ever been in a situation like this? How long did it take to get your money? Ipoker seem to run most poker on bookmakers websites, but they have no contact details on there site! Really annoying

Mate, I'll be honest with you, playing against a buddy on a poker site is just asking for trouble, I lost my Bet24 account for doing just that. I wasn't even playing a bonus.

Yeah, as said above, I would try and avoid playing with a mate at all costs online. Heads up definitely. Playing heads up it with an account linked to yours looks well dodgy to them, and most sites are very strict with possible money laundering

    oh god i know

ill never be playing again. to be honest i didnt think anything off it, never crossed my mind. no bonuses involved, and i think my pal only deposited a tenner in his account before working it upto 150, so money laudering shouldnt have came into it. we ended up having to send hand written letters into hills which have been accepted but these guys at ipoker seem to be taking forever, whatever theyre doing. wobbler, did you win against your pal? and did you get your money eventually or vice versa? My pal thinks its hilarious he beat me yet ive still not got the money!

hills caught me once with skills bonuses played against other accounts of a guy i know

net result ended up losing our accounts at paddy boyles hills and somewhere else
    cant remember where

both thought it was a great idea at the time

also ended up losing 20 quid in a boyles iirc and about 150 in the hills that they never paid out

to be fair most of it was bonus cash that wed accumulated

class ourselves as lucky as i had a lot in paddy who initially locked account but paid out after a week

    never do it...
    same with poker
    same with betfair
never match bets with another account, as if you do it frqurntly looks like money laundering

too much cash moving from account a to account b looks dodgy as do too many cross matched bets

    good luck getting your cash

Chipdumped once when I knew I had no other option to get the money. Went fine for a while, dumped around 1k to various accounts until winner.com caught me and had all my iPoker accounts closed. Didn't chase it after as I knew I wouldnt see my money. Shame I couldn't get the other 3k out

im sure theres an advert on tv advertising something along the line of play your friends online

to me its quite obvious that friends could legitimately want to play each other online regularly
