Have a plan and stick to it

Thanks for all the support guys. I really wish i could have scored something big. I really felt good going into the tournaments, and I played very well in both. Even in the first with all the airport delays, which worried me at first because it can be frustrating sometimes, but i tried to just keep a clear mind so it wouldnt effect my play. still in vegas now, going to play a couple daily tournaments the next 2 days that are around 200 buy ins. Wish me luck.

Ya, that is fine guys. I will be playing in 2 again next year at this time for sure during the world series events. If I am going to play in any other events that are followed daily with proof of updates and entry and finishes, i will let you know if it comes earlier.

So, what was the final tally with this Kid? Sounds like in the region of stake money back, depending on taxes etc?
I'm happy to receive my share back - new car needs paying for!

yes, anyone with a 5% share gets 125 back. It actually comes to 120 if the taxes are 20%, but since it was not a large amount, other write offs and other things should keep it low. So i just sent everyone 125.00 and if the taxes come to an amount way under 20%, i let everyone know. Just PM your paypal email and i will send it asap.

If its stake money back then I'll just keep it in as a couple of others have mentioned if that's ok.

Yes that is fine. I am thinking of going back to vegas for the main event. I wont be playing in it because i cant get there until after it starts, but the venetian and caesars have some higher buy in events. If they for sure show the entrants and how everyone finishes, I will let everyone know and see if they want a share in it or not.

Didnt make it back for the main event. I am actually leaving for vegas tonight. Just in time to hit a couple of the daily mega stack tournaments and wsop side tournaments. Small buyins around 150-230 but decent size fields will make for a nice payday on top 5 or better. I also dont want to miss the great cash game action that has gone on this year. The amount of people in vegas for the series this year has been great.
I will be in vegas again sept 15-18th and october 5-9th. So if anyone is planning any vegas trips and will be there at at this time, let me know. I will probably have more booked by the end of the year, but going to the dominican republic late october and some other beach places with my fiancee so might not make vegas again until jan after these next three.

About a month and a half away from the world series of poker events again. I already have my first trip in june booked. June 1st to the 9th. Going to play in event 9A on saturday. It is a 1500 by in event. If I dont make it to day 2, I will buy back in again in the same event for sunday 9b. This is the first time they are having an event like this at the wsop. And I love it. The main reason is it adds a lot more players to the prize pool. Also people play much more reckless because they think (well if i get knocked out, i can still buy back in tomorrow). Then usually when they do buy back in the next day, they are usually on tilt or upset without realizing it from the previous days knock out. Luckily for me this works well. I am very level headed and almost never tilt or change my temperment. This has mostly to do with my many years of playing and seeing it all, but also I have kinda trained myself to be emotionless while playing at the table.
Last year was a pretty good year for me at the cash games and side tournaments. The WSOP events, I cashed in the first 1500 event and the 1000 event i played in I barely missed the money. I would have been top 5 at least in chips with about 110 left when i flopped a boat and the chip leader at our table went runner runner for a higher boat. I still cashed but that hurt knowing I would have been golden chip wise with less than 7% of the field left.
Anyways, I will start a new thread sometime soon to see if anyone cares to get shares of me again this year. Everyone broke even last year, and it will be the same deal this year as last. Also, if anyone will be in vegas during this time, let me know so we can meet up for a drink.
