Oh right I see, I don't know about free bets I've not had a free bet given yet at Partybets, it's just been those cashout restricted bonuses. Maybe lazza will know...

Im pretty sure you keep the stake but im basing that on every other bonus i have ever had from them has been like that. I dont actually know the T&Cs of the £25 you are talking about.
Have a plan and stick to it

Just thought I'd post and say what an excellent referrer lazza was - not that I expected anything else given his reputation . Extremely fast payment indeed

Have just signed up via lazza_w today, thanks for that lazza

FWIW here's my diary entry for it:

Signed up here today, got referred by lazza_w.

The tell a friend (TAF) bonus here is the referred person gets 100% up to $100 and the referrer gets %50 up to $100, so at moment $100 == £63.81, so to get maximum out of the bonus I needed to deposit £127.62 – say £130 to be even/safe.

Now, trouble is at Gamebookers, as with Partybets, when you first sign up you can only deposit up to around £90 due to deposit limits (well that’s how it was with moneybookers anyway). So, to increase the limits you have to become a ‘preferred member’ of the cashier which involves sending off a signed declaration along with proof of ID and address. Have sent that off so will see what they say hopefully tomorrow.

UPDATE 1am – the preferred member of cashier upgrade application went through OK so can now deposit larger amounts. Have deposited £130 to maximize the TAF bonus, from Gamebookers currency exchange page:
BASED ON THE CURRENT ACCOUNT EXCHANGE RATE
    130.00 GBP = 199.63 USD

    1.00 GBP = 1.54 USD 1.00 USD = 0.65 GBP
The bonus is now showing as £63.17 which doesn’t quite tally with the figures above but nonetheless is excellent.

    The wager requirement is (d+b)*6 = 126.34*6 = £758.04.

Even managed to get on £12 on tonight’s NHL no loss bet which starts in an hour or two!
Bit of a headache with the gbp/usd conversion and getting your head around depositing twice as much as you need to (for your intro bonus) so the referrer gets the maximal bonus but all good now.

Also another thing that was odd was that originally before I deposited after I logged in my balance was saying 0.00USD which was a bit worrying. Had double checked to make sure I'd set 'GBP' as the currency. Thankfully after depositing though the balance did come up as 130GBP.

So... looking good so far, thanks again to lazza!

I actually used the diary retrospectively for the first time that I can remember tonight to see why I lost £55 on trading a while back in september!

Other than that I@m not sure why I use it, mostly just as a way of 'debriefing' from a day of betting and mulling over what I just did (what did I just do?!?! etc)... actually I used to make a point of writing out in bullet points 'lessons to be learnt'... but I learnt from them all so I don't do that any more now...

I don't keep a diary but I do keep a spreadsheet in which I obsessively record all bets placed, cashback received, etc so as to have an accurate profit total.

Finding gamebookers a real PITA to be honest, only placed one bet so far which didn't qualify because it was under 2 (that was on the no loss NHL game). Horses seem to be a lot tighter on the odds than they were when I did partybets a few weeks back, maybe I just got lucky there. First intro bonus for a while I've had thoughts of not completing it ... although it has only been a few days so plenty of time left yet... will continue looking tomorrow I guess.

Oh also what's the thinking re dutching partybets vs gamebookers for the no juice match tomorrow? I really don't want to do it for obvious reasons but there don't seem to be any books offering the same +/-2.5 market that I've registered with (Jetbull and 5dimes I think were the only other 2 offering that market apart from pb/gb and even those weren't that great).

Is it worth risking account closure or has anyone dutched pb vs gb regularly against each other...? To be honest I think I'd probably leave it rather than risk it given all the decent regular offers they have on.

I know I sound like a broken record on this but the odds on the handicaps near kick off are usually pretty good at Party/GB.

Dutch with your favoured asian handicap specialist or lay (if you really must) at BetMate/Daq at 2%.
