I'm currently collecting a lot of historic market data, and running essentially a form of statistical analysis against various trade models I have thought of.
I'm now inthe stages of finalising my methods, however I am leaving the components to last minute.
#1 Server - criteria for this is to be a low powered device that I can remote into. Ideally my own box server on my own network, so that I dont need to worry about limitations on installing software/bandwidth issues. Currently thinking about one of these beauties:- Table | The CuBox i From SolidRun
#2 Software - I am using a mySQL database with php, however that currently runs into excel for performance stats/output. I need something that works ideally on a linux server, that can log in and trade on given instructions.
Point 2 is the hard part, previously I have done this on a full windows PC, but going forward I want to move this off to another completely seperate, low power/maintenance system.
Any reccomdendations for linux software that can log into and interact with exchanges would be appreciated, as I really do not want to waste my own time creating my own version.
