Barca massacred on St Valentine’s day

Barcelona are on the brink of going out of the Champions League after a shock 4-0 hammering at the hands of Paris Saint Germain.

Barca began the night as 7/2 favourites to be crowned champions of Europe, but now you can back them up to 25/1 – after they were outplayed at the Parc Des Princes.

And it was two birthday boys who did the damage for PSG. Both Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani were celebrated their birthdays in fine style.

Di Maria scored from a free-kick to open the scoring on 18 minutes before January signing Julian Draxler doubled the lead just before the interval.

Di Maria added a third ten-minutes into the second-half before Cavani added a fourth to send the home fans into raptures.

PSG were ranked as one of the outsiders for the Champions League but are now into 12/1.

Without even playing, BetVictor now make Bayern Munich favourites for the title at 10/3 from 4/1 ahead of Real Madrid at 9/2 who were 5/1.

Dortmund downed

Borussia Dortmund will have to come from behind in their tie with Benfica, if they want to progress, after losing 1-0 in the Estadio Da Luz.

The winner came from former Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou who pounced just after half-time to put the Portuguese champions ahead.

Dortmund did miss a great chance to level on the hour mark, when they were awarded a penalty but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw his sport-kick saved by Ederson.
