Successfully registered and deposited yesterday, then the second after I deposit my internet connection went down It’s back up now, so I've emailed you the details.

P.s. I was able to register a Betfair forum name without placing any bets.

Munk, I'd like to have a bash at this challenge but I'm only new to the forum so I'm happy to forego any prizes I might win (in my dreams) as I don't really meet the entry criteria of 20 posts and 5 thanks. What you say?

So I'm guessing it's confirmed that claiming another promotion from Betfair won't get the accounts toasted?

That is interesting, I've only deposited as well so far late late last night, I'll try setting up my forum username today. If it works out as it should, the chat names will easily flag up who's taking part in the aff system - although the idea of depositing £50.xx will also be a good way too. Betfair just don't make it easy to run promotions for affiliates.

Yes that's fine, I should amend that about the 20 posts/5 thanks, everyone is welcome to take part.

Feel free to PM me if the information in the first post is not clear enough.

Can I install BetTrader & use in more than once place?

I won't be using it in two places at once but I might stick it on my home laptop plus find a way to get it running on my work laptop for a cheeky bit of day-time action.

That's fine, the subscription is registered to your account rather than your computer, so you can access it from any computer that’s running BTP.

As maddog says it is fine to do that, BUT it does flag up another very important point in that you must be VERY careful not to leave BetTrader running on two machines at the same time. It's perfectly legal to do it, but it means that you will effectively be doubling up the data usage totals which may take you over the 20 refreshes per second after which you get charged for data usage by Betfair.

I've actually made this mistake at least once - I left BetTrader running downstairs on a laptop so I could watch a horse race and place bets in running, but at the same time I had BetTrader running on my other machine upstairs as well. Within a week or so I got an email from Betfair to inform me that I'd been charged for excessive data usage but I would not be charged since this was the first time it happened, words to that effect.

I will find the thread on BetTrader forum now about it:

Thanks Munk. Definately worth noteing. I can just imagine struggling for a hours to make a few pounds profit only to get the charge from betfair and wipe out all your profits.
