Well done joeyboyuk - mistake or not
I agree with procrastinator - it would be great to see half way through who is still in running.
Anyone running a side book on the winner

I'm at £79.02. I've had a few good wins and several small losses which is how i'd like to keep going! I've been fairly good at getting out early when things go wrong which seems to be the main advice on trading. Anyway, really enjoying it so far - keep up the good work folks!

I've been out for a week now with a bad cold/flu and haven't done a thing. £72.51 is current total and I don't think it will change until later this week.
Hopefully I can get back into it quickly, as was starting to click on the horses and dogs a bit.

Well I've been away for the last week and my computer wasn't working in the first week so have only had a couple of days trading... current balance £50.83
-
Decided to abandon the horses and concentrate on footie:
Balance 13/07 £59.91
Balance 14/07 £78.41
Traded on 3 matches tonight for net profits of £11.52, £1.95 and £5.03

I'm out! A disastrous German Grand Prix left me floundering around the £15 mark. When Webber was given the drive-thru penalty I quickly laid my balance on him as the odds drifted. I expected the odds to continue drifting because he suddenly had no chance of winning the race. Everyone else quickly realised that he was still in with a strong shout and the odds plummeted, leaving me high and dry.
I have a balance of £15 now. It used to be £180 a few days ago. I realise that my profits and losses came through luck, bad luck, poor judgement and recklessness rather than proper trading.
Rather than continue with the challenge I think I will take my £15 and put it toward an Islay malt. Slainte and good luck to the rest of you!

Cheers shyle, thanks for taking part. Good luck with the malt, hopefully less luck required reaping a profit from that!
-
Sorry to hear that, Shyle. Hope you enjoy the malt!

have not posted because Andy Murray losing in the semis left me with £7.43 but due to some good luck and a couple of good trades on favourites on the horses have managed to drag the total back to £23.92 so still in and looking forward to trading on the Open and the 2nd test.

That's great going skippa59. Could have easily gone the same way for me trading on wimbledon, only be sheer luck I managed to come out without a loss. Keep posting your results on the weekly prize thread, you could still get a prize since all the trades are being judged on merit rather than size of wins now....
