BF Trading tips evening
Dear Darkhorse,
Betfair is all about fans, friendly rivalry and the excitement of sport...so we've put together a special evening, and are inviting some select customers to our HQ in Hammersmith, London. We'd like you to be there.
Join us on Wednesday, 31st March, from 6:30 pm. We'll be holding a competition based on trading live sports. You'll be provided with a funded Demo Betfair account, with the simple instruction of returning a profit. The biggest winners will take home some great prizes, and there'll be food and drink for everyone. Our own resident Betfair expert will also be available to give you a few tips.
Whether you're new to trading, or already have your own proven successful strategies, come along, have some fun and exchange a bit of banter.
Anyone else get the invite ? I am definitely going.

Thanks.
You can book a place on the Betfair site. They are in the forum under education.
Having said that this one is not on the list but its worth checking now and again to see if there are any in your area.

Got an invitation to a trading day on Gold Cup day with free drinks and food, but was unable to attend, believe it was run by someone called Centaur on behalf of BF.

I got this by email;
We would like to invite you to attend a free training seminar, the sessions are designed to be fun and informative, giving you a chance to meet Betfair representatives and like-minded fellow users. We appreciate your continued loyalty and would like to thank you in person. So please take time to look through the information provided and book yourself on the course of your choice.
anyone had any experience/know anything about the courses; are they worthwhile etc? Potentially interested if it's worth the time.

I attended one of these back in november when I was worknig in London, although it was more of an education evening more than a competition. The content was absolute dire and worthless to anyone who knows even the smallest amounts of info about sports trading.
On the upside, they had an ice barrel full of Bud and Grolsh and also had a decent buffet, of which i took full advantage
