Topbetter - what is it and how do i get access?

Topbetter works fine and has helped me on a couple of occaisions over the last couple of weeks. I was struggling to get any results for Gamebookers but that seems to have changed from last night. Maybe it picks up more matches for them closer to the weekend.

I'm also interested to know there will be some help with dutching on its way.
I understand where the stake amounts come from but wonder if there is a less scientific way of explaining dutching to myself. Would the table of odds I have seen be something to use or is there a better way to spot the dutching opportunity. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post....I'll look to post the question elsewhere.

ok, Dutching should be working now. There are a few duff records from developing/testing so please ignore them...it's pretty obvious which are not right!

The site is slow (at least it is for me on my awful broadband!) because of the large number of odds. A filtering system will be implemented shortly.

There is currently a problem with the Top Better server. After restarting it yesterday morning an error message along the lines of "unable to read disk - ctrl, Atl + del to restart" appeared. I've not had time to investigate it but will do tonight and hopefully everything will be up and running again shortly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. The drive is picked up by the BIOS but that's all i've been able to check due to other commitments.

What kind of OS is it? Take the HDD out of that machine and put it in another and see if you can boot it or alternatively put in a known-working HDD into the server and see if it boots.

If the HDD has gone tits up then your best bet will be to copy a backup onto a new disk, otherwise to try and salvage any data by hooking it up to a PC with a good disk in it (ie your workstation or w/e) and running some low level data retrieval tool on it. The former option would be preferable though if you have a backup.

I've managed to salvage all the files I need and am now re-installing the OS. Hopefully once this is done I can put everything back together again. The database build script that I have is slightly out of date but I'm hoping that I can update any changes that I made fairly quickly.

The most important thing is that I have the files to get things back up and running. How long that'll take remains to be seen but hopefully by tomorrow night!

Restored most of it. There are a few matches coming though now. I just need to tweak a few things to get it working properly. It's probably not that useable at the moment but it should be back again tomorrow night.

Update:

Top Better seems pretty much back up again. The new bookies that were added a week or so ago still need to be configured. This shouldn't take long so expect them to be there before Saturday.

Under/Over 2.5 goals market was removed over the summer as it was getting under 2.5 and over 2.5 markets mixed up. I'll try and get this running again too so that there are more markets.
