2.40 Exeter - Quaddick Lake

Once again not a tip but just an item of interest.

Quaddick Lake in the 2.40 Exeter, Sporting Life comment is:

"Quaddick Lake is potentially a lot better than we have seen so far and any market move for him after a break would be interesting as he races off this new mark of 105"


It opened on Bet365 at 14/1 & so far this morning has been backed down thru 12/1, 8/1, 7/1, 6/1, 5/1, 9/2, 4/1 & is currently 3/1!

It's recent form is horrible (98F0) so will be interesting to see if the market knows....

I saw the odds start tumbling last night; got a 5.5/4.5 (some at 4.1) arb this morning but have been out since then. £10 profit but to think I could have got another £70 if I'd be in to lay against the bog at the off.

I find it strange how Sporting Life's forecast odds for him were 13 but Racing Post (available last night before bf's odds started dropping) had him at 5.

Its not that unusual. I thought it was at first but quite regularly between timeform, racing post and sporting life you'll see big expected sp price differences. I don't know if there is any trading patterns you can see off the back of it though.

No, I did arb it as part of the Bet365 4/1 offer (which was how I noticed it) but nothing other than that. Thought my chances of it winning were pretty good when it was backed into 4.0! Less so when it drifted back out to 15 lol.

Interesting, I should have followed up on this (but didn't until now.....)

Next time out a week later he won comfortably at 10.0. Time after that he won again at 3.25.
