There is the age old addage that accas are for mugs and the bookies best friend, which to an extent is true. The bookies invented accas to give you a bigger chance of losing as every single selection you add increases your chances of LOSING!!. But with high odds for small stakes can you really make it pay longterm??
Here will shall find out!!
going to place all my "mug acca" bets here and keep a running total. This will run from today until the end of the european leagues next season. All accas are for £10 stakes. It will be interesting to see if it really can be profitable longterm or just throwing good money after bad. To compare Singles vs accas i will also keep a record of any profit/loss made from backing the selections in singles. For example if i have a 4 team acca for £10 doing singles for the same stake would be 4 x £2.50 singles. If i had a 5 team acca for £10 it would be 5 x £2.00 singles
Todays "mug bet".......
Rosenborg to beat FK Qarabag (1.33)
NAC Breda to beat Gandzasar Kapan (1.36)
Rapid Vienna to beat Vllaznia (1.67)
Helsingborg to beat FC Zestafoni (1.33)
Motherwell to beat Flamurtari (1.36)
5 team acca pays 5.14 with skybet (in brackets is best price for backing singles)
