    Cheltenham tipping game (just for fun) - Thursday's races

    Lookie heres you horse tipping addicts. I'm giving you an imaginary £1,000 (that's right, an imaginary £1k!) as your bankroll today.

    You can bet it all on one horse if you want or spread it across several horses throughout the day - how you use your imaginary bankroll is up to you. After all, I'm not going to send in the imaginary police to enforce imaginary rules.

    Post up your stake/s and horse/s (probably best to just accept SP?) and say single or e/w and see who makes the most imaginary money.

    Eg: One-Eyed Horse / Single / £350

    Let's put some fun into Cheltenham!

    - at the end of racing, post up your imaginary profit or loss for others to look on in awe/aw at
    - game closes at the off at the last race so no more entries after then otherwise you'll likely be very accurate with your predictions:O

    A slightly different tactic from me. Who's going to go with keeping the grand in their pocket

    Didn't get a chance earlier - I was going to put lays on all the favourites, but the SP rule put paid to that, as you couldn't guarantee to stay within budget.

    So, all in on the last race (16:40) with £1000 worth of E/W £200(£100/£100) on each selection;

    Ballabriggs
    Shillingstone
    Faltering Fullback
    Heatcliff
    Oodachee

    Edit: E/W 1/4 odds 1,2,3,4

    Result; Ballabriggs in 1st place at 10.0 sp = £1250 i.e. total profit +£250
