    England go out on raffle

If my fag-packet calcs are correct a USA-ALG 0-0 & an ENG-SLO 2-2 would see ENG & USA level on pts, gd, gs & performance against each other, raising the delightful prospect of drawing lots to see who goes through. (If that's not how it works please correct me).

On the grounds that it's so easy to imagine it happening, I'm having some of that CS double.

Don't worry, England won't put you through the susoense of lots. Can't see England scoring one goal let alone two. At least from next Wednesday evening we'll be able to enjoy the WC without the stress of having to follow England.

Must look for the odds of Cappello getting sacked before the end of June!
