I had some on Leeds at half time with a view to trading out if/when they scored. Greened up for £185 after they went 2-1 up. With £0 on the draw and £0 on Millwall. Not a bad start to the day.

Both the Stoke and Blackburn results could easily have gone our way, not our day. Villa on the other hand were shocking! Have been 100% on the clean sheet bets so far.

I was gonna back Liverpool (draw no bet) but I noticed three of the last four meetings between these two at City have finished 0-0 so had a change of heart. I think Liverpool are value at the available odds so will back themand also have a small bet on 0-0
Liverpool to win (2.00 to win 4.40)
Correct score 0-0 (1.00 to win 8.6)

Saturday 28th August
Blackburn +0.5 (2.00 to win 2.94)
Chelsea to keep a clean sheet (3.00 to win 2.34)
Man Utd to keep a clean sheet (3.00 to win 2.10)
Sunday
Man City to win (3.00 to win 2.64)
Liverpool to keep a clean sheet (3.00 to win 2.31)
Everton -0 (2.00 to win 2.04)
The Blackburn pick may seem brave but they only lost three prem games at home last season and Arsenal only won eight from nineteen away games.

Good luck on Blackburn they are an awesome wager and must be one of the biggest value bets of the weekend. It would be very generous to put Arsenal at even 55% to win this match so the odds on them are just silly.

It seems the only thing i`m getting right at the mo is the clean sheets which I think are still 100% at around 9/9. Hopefully things will start moving in the right direction soon.

Well from here a lot of your picks look sensible and well judged. I can see you know what you are doing. The only one that did surprise me was Spurs away to Young Boys in the CL which I think was poor value as 1) it's hard to win away in the champions league and 2) more than the pitch I think YB were already in their season (could be wrong about that though). It's always hard to go away to a team that are a bit ahead in terms of fitness. But generally Spurs don't have a lot of pace away unless Lennon is playing. Defoe has pace but needs service. I think this is why they may go for a pacey striker if they can.
One thing I remember form previous years is the first round of games after the International break can throw up some freak results and is a betting minefield. So tread carefully!

Thanks DG....you may be right about Spurs, guess I just thought they would have too much quality for YB. The first few weeks are oftena little tricky so i`m not worried, I hear ya about the internationals.

Germany/England double (3.00 to win 3.03)
I expect both to be too strong for the opposition.
