Hi all. I've been wondering recently which sport is best for finding value bets and I suppose the obvious answer is the sport you know the most about. But if we took a complete gambling novice, who isnt particularly interested in sport, (my wife maybe lol) and taught them the concept of the value bet, what sport do you think they would find the most proffitable/least unproffitable.
To me horse racing seem's the most likely. Obviously it's a pretty complex sport, but once you have learned the basics your able to place small bets at odds of around 10/1 pretty regularly. So it would take a while to lose a bankroll of say £100, and in the meantime you'd be learning. Also, it seems to me that horses is where the most famous pro's make their living so there must be a decent edge there for the dedicated.
Just wondering what you all think is the sport where the best value is, and if you think it's likely that somebody could make a decent proffit without concentrating solely on one sport.
