Not really no. It's not up to me to point this out but I think it's responsible to do so. The goverment seem to think so too - they stipulate that all gaming sites include a warning about the risks of gambling and advice on where to go to get help. In no way am I suggesting that Dash has a problem, but it's not actually unheard of for sometimes experienced Advanntage Players to go on a massive bender and tilt. When I asked Dash to ask himself if he was on tilt, I meant exactly that.As for letting the newbies know that this is high risk. Is this not a little patronising?
Maybe, but there are some who may be seeking new strategies and use this example in some way - perhaps being ignorant of the element of risk in proportion to bankroll. Again, not for me to point out so I will shut up after this post but I don't think we can assume that everybody understands the math. I'm not saying that anyone couldn't recognise a £4.9K liability as a huge risk but someone may end up thinking it is OK to risk 10% of their bankroll on a bet.Surely anyone old enough to be a member realises this?
I think there should be guidelines laid down for those new to the game, yes sir I do, whether they are AP's or just Gambling for fun. This site is not only for match betting...it`s a gambling website...as such do we really need to let all newbies know that there is a risk involved with gambling?
I think not.
I'm glad you recognise that because I found it somewhat annoying. The get a grip comment was maybe a little strong
I can't remember writing anything that suggests Dash is an idiot. I do however question this strategy and I question is reasons behind it - as far as I can see this is an open debate.but some posts are almost calling Dash an idiot if he places this bet. Unwise, maybe...but not an idiot imo.
Didn't really want to get into a verbal exchange about this so i'll leave it there.
Good luck with the play Dash.
