Most won on a single wager?

    Evenin' all.

Just wondering, what's the most you've won on a single bet? Mine's not very much at all....£350

While were at it, what's the most you've ever staked? Again, mines pretty low, £120

    Cheers.

I once had an arb that netted me £2,000. It was a £1,000 bet and the horse got best odds guaranteed, add that to a bit of an underlay...

Something around $5000 on a NFL middle (That's where you bet the score to be under one value and over a different but lower value).

In this case I had bet Under 47.5 and over 46.5. So if the score was exactly 46 both bets won.

At the end of the game the score was 40. One team scored a Touch Down as the clock hit zero. That made the score 46

As the team scoring had then won the game, I did not know if they would then take the conversion kick.

I waited and waited looking at the online scoreboard, and then after some minutes (or maybe hours!) it clicked up another 1 point. Conversion made. Score 47. I Win!

NFL conversion is only worth 1 point (or 2 if they go for the play conversion).

3 points for a field goal though.

Anyway, I once had a decent arb turned into £1k+ profit when one of the bookies paid me twice by mistake, does that count? :P

    You are correct.

I bet thousands on these games and have no idea what the rules are

You lot have scored some pretty big wins.

I'm hoping that when i start arbing my personal best will improve. Either that or i get a bit better at finding value and then i'll work my way up to some big bets.

£3000 on a horse that won at 30s. Had a fair few others for more than 2k, but only do punting/ trading on the sports side so there are a lot of losers as well.
