I closed it out at 2.59 for a no loss, can't believe it didn't come down, clearly no one backs Blackpool which is something to remember for the future. Had a few punts on them, £15 double on Blackpool/bolton, £5 cs on 0-2, sky snr on them too. They got beat so nothing won on those. Still value though but as this is a trading thread maybe I've got to start to learn to bring a bit more than just my value hunches to the party. My ultimate goal and the true coming of age af any wannabe trader must be when one can back a team who you think are currently poor value because you believe they will shift down and become even worse value but make you money on the trade. Sentiment moves markets, not necessarily the underlying fundamentals as can be seen in the financial markets where seemingly overvalued companies with high P/E ratios continue to rise while others with years of strong consistent profits paying good dividends remain lower priced and out of fashion with little price movement. Anyway enough rambling, quick update on the current position which makes rather poor reading in all ways I think

No mate, I only do pre match trades which I always close before the game, as that was the original idea of the thread, however I did have a little speculative punt on over 4.5 goals in play in the 2nd half which I layed after the third goal but that wasmore luck than judgement I think Good work with yours. I quite like the idea of the sort of trades you do as although it appears to be a trade it can also be thought of as a punt and the upside and downside can no doubt be worked out roughly in advance as you did. Do you have an exit strategy in place which you stick to rigidly like trading out after 30 minutes if no goal or something like that? I guess the danger is when things go against you and you end up just letting it ride and hoping for the best. I could well imagine doing that if it was me so I'd have to try and set some rules for myself and try and stick to them.
