I haven't laid Villa in the end Frank, had a quick look but it didn't float my boat so thought I better stay clear. Gone for a Rugby one on England v France as it's just one of those that when I saw the market I thought, crikey that feels short. I reckon they'll go off at 1.6 so it'll be interesting to see what happens, France at Ireland had a little late money for them so I'm hoping something like that happens here.
Open : England v France 6 Nations, lay England 204.08 @ 1.49

Now, shoot me down or join me in laying the Villa.
Drifted to 1.85/1.86 before Kick off

What a fecking disaster, should have thought that England at Rugby may of course be subject to the patriotic hordes, happy even to feed on the fleshless, rancid scraps of such a pathetically ungenerous price as 1.49, all the way down to 1.41 pre kick off! I knew football was subject to this "always lay England" phenomenon but in all honesty I wasn't thinking it was going to happen here too. Stupid of me I know. Maybe it's even worse as Rugby followers perhaps have more money to waste, although there are less of them of course. Or perhaps I just got it wrong and England were really 1.41 shots but I really don't think that was the case. Well, whatever the reason, I have messed up the figures big style with that trade. Up just half a percent average yield now, this is proving to be somewhat more difficult then I imagined I feel like a man who's gone for a nice walk up a hill and found it's fecking Mount Everest, and I've forgotten the oxygen Oh well, onwards and upwards
Maybe I will start using other peoples insight a bit more, various punting forums often throw up people with good knowledge of markets and maybe I'll look more closely into following their ideas and not just my own as presently I seem to be putting in very few trades and with little success on those I do find.
