horse racing each way double
ive read a lot about horse racing each way double betting. some articles call it the "bookies nightmare"  does anyone profit from this type of bet

after doing a bit more in-depth research i decided to follow a slightly different strategy with horse racing place bets that claims a 88.24% success rate & 24.24% profit.
with a very cautious approach i have placed 8 bets thus far & managed a yield of 24.2%.

i think it's a wee bit too early as ive only placed 8 bets... perhaps the next 3 or 4 shall lose 
im gonna try more bets if & when they become available (they are not available every day unfortunately) & after 30 bets if it still seems pretty proftable i'll let you know.

placed 8 bets today & they all won. i cant quite believe it really. perhaps beginners luck with this particular strategy.
thus far:
16 bets, 16 wins = 100% correct
profit yield % = 24.6%
i'll look tomorrow & see if any horse races meet the strategy criteria & post any results accordingly, however iam well aware that a couple of losses can seriously dent the figures

you mean that all your place bets won and im assuming all your win bets lost?
the basics i believe are, when there is a field with an odds on favourite and the rest of the field are highish priced people can take advantage of the fixed price 1/3, 1/4 or 1/5 odds?

this is a low stakes experiment & i only placed "place" bets on the races but 11 horses won & 5 were 2nd. it was lot of work & some days no races met the criteria.
it is a very cautious approach but i would prefer a smallish % return rather than losing at higher odds. roll ups would of course given a much higher return. but its horse racing betting so i guess anything can happen & a bad day today could kill my little experiment.
i know virtually nothing about horse racing so theres no skill involved only playing with numbers plus ive been on holiday from work this week so had a bit of time but may struggle to find the time most days next week.

placed 9 bets today... 8 won & 1 lost so thus far 24 winners & 1 loser. yield so far: 18%

2 or 3 horses meet the criteria today. the 1 st 2 are: producer & mister music at epsom.
perhaps a place double ?
