Looking forward to the upcoming NBA season, might try and track my bets in here so if I get on a roll, feel free to tail my bets!
Early look at the NBA Champion odds and I like the Chicago Bulls as having some value in the East.
I know the Cavs are looking very strong with Lebron, Irving, and Love (ME LOL) added to the mix, plus Shawn Marion is looking to sign on with this superteam, they also have Varjao and Thompson who can bang on the boards and they will have outside shooting covered with James Jones, Mike Miller, and Ray Allen reportedly signing soon.
But, the Cavs are such a short priced team at 4.0 odds with most bookies, the value isn't really there right now anything can happen over a long season and the Heat took a year to gel before they won their first title with the big 3. The Bulls on the other hand...
10.0 odds on some sites, and they've also tooled up for a big year ahead. Some nice rookies added to the mix who did well in the Summerleague, they added one of Europes best players in Mirotic, and they added a great bigman in Pau Gasol who is an excellent fit alongside Noah (2 bigs that can board, block and can both rack up 5apg this year).
Not to mention Derrick Rose coming back. His knees are a worry but he's looking good so far, if he can stay healthy they are a steal at those odds.
