Wimbledon Tipping Contest
It was mentioned about having a sports tipping contest for Wimbledon, using the free £20 from B24. I'm suggesting that we split the £20 two ways and each day place £10 (or 50% of total whatever is lowest) on one womens match and one mens. As WR odds are 1.5 I am going to pick above those.
Please feel free to join in and let's see how far we can go. Today's tips (gone for ones later in day so people can get on): Mens: Querrey, S v Ljubicic, I @1.60 Womens: Wozniak, A v Schiavone, F @ 1.50 Good luck!

Thats excellent thanks and exactly what I was meaning to do and forgot
 I will go next, then anyone else that wants to join in really. We could have some kind of sub prizes, everyone who makes a correct pick can have £10 cash from TGT if Murray wins? (This might not last too long but if we got through to the final that would be very impressive). EDIT = Got my two £10s on those bets, i didnt actually request the bonus from them I thought that would be taking the P but I have £60 of funds in there now so can play along for real.

Depends if we split the winnings 50/50 each round or have a £10 limit per bet and then that way we might get to the final and have some form of profit?

I think just flat bet £10. If enough people follow we could have a few bets a day then, rather than just each "round". If its just me and you thats fairly academic

Well doesn't look like a great start. Wozniak threw away the lead and as Ljubic has pulled out the tournament am guessing that one will be void!!

Well I am down £4 after those two and was going to keep betting £10 a pop but if you want to do half the bonus balance each time we can? (Im not sure why we are doing that though I have £56 in there?).
Anyway I have done £8 a time now and have two choices, Pablo Andujar - Martin Vasallo Arguello @ 1.6 And another which does not count for the wagering but I think is easy money. Kevin Kim - David Ferrer @ 1.11 Here is hoping...

HI there, I placed on your tips yesterday Mike, and now have £55.50 in my account, think I got worse odds to you guys. Will be following this thread but am going away for two weeks on Sunday so may not be able to follow it through to the end.....

On them too Andy. We could change the bet sizes if you would like, thought this way might encourage more to take part as would just be using the free money but think I left opening the thread until a bit late.

I suggest that the daily tipster also decides how large a part of the float goes on each of his picks. For example you could use 2/3 of your float on Ferrer and the rest on Arguello. I think that might be a bit more fun than flat betting and it promotes punts on underdogs which are more fun for me per se.

I don't really find any value to back favourites at the begining of grand slams, so although I feel Karlovic a sure winner @1.2 I opted out of it and went for something a bit more even.
Andreas Seppi - Marc Gicquel @1.61, 1/2 stake Hoping that Seppi's victory over Blake wasn't a fluke but a show of form, so I'm quite pleased with the value on this pick. Guillermo Canas - Albert Montanes @2.55, 1/2 stake Although neither are grass specialists Montanes is in form coming off a victory at Estoril and a good 1st round show, so overall I reckon it's good value. I also considered Almagro and Tipsarevic but it was the bad odds on these two that tipped the scales in favour of my today's picks. Good luck Seppi and Montanes! P. S. Got £10 on each of yours dulence, Montanes is now only 2.35 though  think you killed the odds lol, lets hope this £20 bonus goes far, fingers crossed for tmrw

Well if I killed it with a €15 stake then wow!
Although looking at betfair's price chart now it looks like bet24 prices were a bit off for a while. Ah well, guess I should've checked if they were gonna drop.

Im on both for £10 a time, im going to stick to £10 flat bets and see if I come out of it above or below my deposit. (I didnt get a bonus but in theory I am up £21.68 on what would have been a £40 deposit, in actual fact im up £1.68 on my £60)

What is everyone elses reading of this? I got the email a few days back and originally read it as if you placed a bet on those days but now wondering is that just the draw date and do we email now? Not much chance of winning and I do already have a Wii but I am sure that they still go for reasonable bucks on eBay!!!

Entered as well from a punt i did yesterday. Hopefully that will count. I am assuming the bet can placed on any wimbledon match not just on the dates stated.
Also my bet was voided so we shall see if i that still counts towards the wagering...

Since we're having a break for today I placed some really small stakes on some of the underdogs today just to make it a bit interesting. Went for Cuevas, Mayer, Fognini and Kunitsyn.
