How to find baseball matches?
Hey,
how do you lot manage to find your baseball arbs?
do you do it manually? or is there a matching site out there?
If you do it manually are there any tips to help speed up the process?

I'm sure you can find a site out there somewhere, but honestly the best thing is probably to check the odds yourself. Using arb services/matching sites could risk your accont. Users such as kidpoker have also said that sites such as sbrlines.com (which you should check out if you haven't!) and others isn't really as "live" as they say they are. If you joined through TGT (and possibly even if not) he will also help you look for close matches.
I am no expert on US books, but I do understand that they can be very profitable, like thousands of $ per month. But for that you have to be able to keep your account alive and don't get kicked out or whatever.
All of this is covered pretty well on the board already, so I advise you to read through the threads in full before you do anything.

I would take anything close because... You are not taking value lines only so your accounts will stay open and unlimited much longer.

Here is how I do it. I open up two books I want to bust against. And I just look at the lines back and forth. Once you get good or used to it, It takes about 5 minutes to look at all the lines for all of that days games. Now I do this about 3 times a day. I look at some books the night before when the lines come out. I look again about a half hour before the bulk of the games start. And usually at least one other time on a random time of the day.
For me I am usually matching on 4-8 books. But Some I know the good times to find matches. Like betjamaica. they have almost the earliest lines of anyone besides thegreek and a couple others. I know when other books come out with their overnight lines, it is time to look at betjam vs that book. a half hour to 5 minutes before the bulk of the games game time is clutch. If you are cutting it close, you might not be able to get a lot in, but you can usually find 1-2 nice big arbs.
Remember, all your really looking for this.
1. If Team A plays Team B. Team A has to have a plus number higher than the negative number than team B
example. Team A = Yankess, Team B = Red sox
Yankess are +130 and red sox are -138 at one book
Yankees are +140 and red sox are -148 at the other book.
You would bet yankees at +140 at the one book because the + number is higher than the opposite team (or the red sox at -138) at the other book.
So you would bet for example the yankees at +140 risk 1000 to win 1400
then at the other book bet the red sox -138 risk 1380 to win 1000.
You would then either break even or win 20.00 but you bust money to one book. And by remembering this, it makes it faster to find matches.
PM me for special deals I might have for Most US books. I have many special bonuses that i dont always post about, but i do have, so dont hesitate to PM me.

Thanks for this post Kid, you break it down so simply even I can understand it
I had my first bet on baseball to night but am not sure I got the correct matches lined up right. I bet at Bookie A for the total runs to be less than 9. At Betfair I laid 'under 9.5 runs' (1.87/1.8). Am I right in thinking that if it finished at exactly 9 runs total I would get a push from the bookie and win at BF?
I may have bet on one match tonight on one site and tomorrow night's match on the other but the Bookie A is down at the moment so I can't even check if my bet is in-play.
EDIT:Yes, I did get it wrong - 9 runs total would result in a push and a loss. Ah well, we live and sometimes we learn.

Did the match have different dates on different sites or the same date for the match on both?
