Hello everybody,Here is an update on the Poker situation, firstly we are 99.9% NOT going back to ChiliPoker again for various reasons, but the end result is we wont be going back there. We are on the look out for new Poker rooms to play at in the future and there are some new Poker moderators who will be searching the web to find us freerolls, cheaprolls and added value tournaments. They are "Threebetter" and "Nosomo____King" and they will be active on the Poker section of the forum so if you have any comments or suggestions for these let them know. There is going to be a lot more advice, tips and general help to raise peoples games and increase the knowledge (and therefore profits) of anybody keen to improve. The forum also welcomes "TheHandyMan" who is a Semi Professional player providing specific hand alalysis for anybody who would like a particular game they played looked at from another angle. (Much like TopGears "TheStig" nobody is quite sure who "TheHandyMan" is, but he is probably a collection of several different experts!)The first tournament is a "Texas Hold Em", "$1 buy in - $75 added" game lined up is at PowerPoker this Sunday 20:00, full details can be found on this forum thread: http://www.thegamblingtimes.com/board/our-favorite-poker-promos/6623-1-buy-75-added-powerpoker.htmlThis has been set up by "Threebetter" so if there are any questions or comments about it please get in touch with him. Depending on the interest and how people find the software it may turn into a Series (aka League) at that site. It is just $1 to enter so neither here nor there really but in future at these tournaments there is likely to be much more emhasis on "Profitable play" and teaching/learning the game, and winning $s to reward skilled play. The password is TGTZIG and will be available via TheGamblingTimes only but there is likely to be increasing numbers of players who are "new" and/or just post in the Poker sections which may give the tournaments a different atmosphere to in the past. We will be monitoring how that goes. If there is enough demand for both then Andy will set up a series of tournaments in a seperate league playing for $s but it is with TGT "regulars" in it mainly for the banter.Hopefully everybody will be able to make it this Sunday to give it a go.
