Video Poker Strategy
Video Poker is much more variable than blackjack, although the expected return is almost as high. There are many different variations, JokerPoker/ AcesOrFaces/ 10sOrBetter/ DeucesWild etc etc. Jacks or Better is the most common but because there are so many 5 card combinations you can be dealt it is impossible to learn perfect strategy off by heart or even write it onto a chart. There is however software available which will show you how to play each hand. A trial version can be downloaded for free from here: http://www.zamzone.com/
What is certain with all forms of Video Poker is that you should always play it on Max Coins as this gives the Royal Flush a disproportionate payout value. A good way to learn what to hold in any scenario would probably be to download a casino and watch it on autoplay for a while, it will follow perfect strategy and you will soon pick up the basics for when you come to play yourself.
