Wenger odds on to leave Emirates

  • Ladbrokes say Wenger will be out before next season

On the back of what looks like another Premier League campaign without a title, bookmakers Ladbrokes do not believe Arsene Wenger will be in charge at The Emirates next season.

Arsenal were well beaten by champions elect Chelsea on Saturday, which sees them drop 12-points behind their West London rivals, indeed some bookmakers are already paying out on Antonio Conte’s side to win the league.

The Gunners now look to have a battle on their hands to make the top-four and a number of fans are far from happy with their veteran French coach.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The odds are starting to tip in favour of the Arsenal boo boys getting their way. For the first time this season, the betting indicates Wenger might be coming to the end of his time at The Emirates.”

Ladbrokes are making Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe the favourite to replace Wenger at Arsenal.
