A mouthwatering FA Cup semi-final weekend is in store with two huge games at Wembley as Chelsea face Tottenham and Arsenal take on Manchester City.

The first game sees the top-two in the Premier League clash – with Chelsea and Spurs clashing in a capital derby.

Both managers are playing it cool, suggesting the other side is favourite for the game.

“If there is a favourite, it’s Chelsea. They are top of the Premier League and have experienced players and a great manager,” said Mauricio Pochettino.

“We are talking about a team with players who, in the past five years, have won European competitions and World Cups. Their manager won the title in Italy and they are more experienced.”

Chelsea chief Antonio Conte said: “[This season] there’s one win for us, one win for them.

“They showed they are able to beat us because it happened in the second leg [at White Hart Lane] but we’ve shown we can beat them.

“Now we will see what the result is in the semi-final but for sure it will be an interesting game.”

Arsenal are looking for their third final in four years and Arsene Wenger knows another trophy would help to ease some of the criticism, he and his side have been getting in recent weeks.

“We are of course ambitious. We’ve done it before, we know we can do it. It’s much more level at the start (against City),” he said.

“We know we have to be at our best to qualify (for the final).”

Pep Guardiola is still getting used to the FA Cup, saying: “I live in Spain and the cup is two games so it’s a little bit predictable what is going to happen.

“In the Bundesliga it was completely different – like in England one game and the tradition there is so special, so good. The final is one game, the most beautiful game in Germany.”
