Tottenham confident Harry Kane will stay

Tottenham Hotspur remain confident that they will keep Harry Kane until they open their new stadium next year.

Spurs are looking to move into their new White Hart Lane Stadium next season, and they want to keep the key stones of their current side – and Kane is very much one of those key men.

Football INDEX Watch – HARRY KANE – £6.50 – second on the INDEX, but for good reason – still a long-term good investment.

I am told by sources close to Spurs that they are open to dialogue over a new deal for Kane, who only signed a new deal 10-months ago – although they would struggle to get anywhere near the contracts on offer at a Real Madrid or even some of their Premier League rivals.

As one of the most dangerous strikers in world football, it is little surprise that a club like Real Madrid are being linked and the Bookmakers believe Kane will soon be on his way.

PaddyPower make him 1/8 to win the Premier League title elsewhere, and 1/4 to be playing for Real Madrid and Barcelona at some point.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “I doubt that Kane will be in a Harry to leave Tottenham, but he’s clearly going to get offers from elsewhere.

“He’s made no secret of his desire to win things during his career and I expect him to do so. If there’s one thing we know about Harry by now, it’s that he gets goals.”
