Liverpool odds-on to be January big spenders

Liverpool are favourites to be the biggest spenders in the Premier League this January.

Many are expecting big money to be spent once again by the clubs in England’s top-flight, with the transfer window now open again.

It is little surprise given The Reds have already secured a £75million deal for Southampton’s Virgil Van Dijk – a world record for a defender.

After Liverpool and Bookmakers PaddyPower expect both Manchester clubs to be rivalling them in spending terms.

Paddy Power said: “So let me get right to the point – these clubs will pop their cork for every man they see.”
