Spanish coach Javi Gracia has taken charge at Watford, after they axed Marco Silva.
It has emerged that Watford have been considering Silva’s position for weeks, and they feel he never got over Everton’s failed approach for his services before Christmas.
A run of one win in 11 games has followed and they axed him following defeat at Leicester and they already know the man they want to take the helm at Vicarage Road.
47-year-old Gracia, who was last in management at Russian side Rubin Kaan – who axed him last summer – has been handed the hot-seat on an 18-month deal.

Bookmakers suspended betting on Gracia landing the role not long after Silva was sacked.
“From the moment Javi Gracia began to be backed it was a deluge of support,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
