With a literally sobering Dry January out of the way, Paddy Power are cracking out the fizz with a vengeance – to celebrate the launch of their new TV advert.
It is to mark the launch of the firm’s renovated app and website, both of which have undergone extensive improvement work.
Paddy Power report that the updates deliver:
- Their fastest ever mobile app and site
- Easier and simpler to navigate interface
- Bag-fulls of innovative new features
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Like any good Premier League club, we know that success isn’t earned these days, it’s bought.
“So we threw a shed-load of cash at our IT team to make our app top of the league. It’s just a shame the same expense couldn’t be spared for scriptwriting.
“In any case, it’s done the job, and our slick new app is almost as glitzy as the cars our app guys drive.”
Marketing & Brand Director Michelle Spillane said: “Paddy Power’s objective was to make an engaging and distinctive product campaign, utilising the brand personality, while still landing a clear product upgrade and speed message.
“We based the new product campaign on the insight that money is the only route to success in modern sport. Just look at Man City and PSG.
“So we filled the IT department with would-be Neymars and are now threatening their manager with the sack if we don’t win the Champions League this season.”
