Market Movers with Unibet – May 29

Unibet Racing’s Will Petit brings us their biggest market movers and ones to watch from Wednesday’s racing action.

Three market movers today straight from the trading desk.

NEWTON ABBOT

Lapford Lad

12.00pm
3/1 from 9/2

There was a well backed winner in the very first race of the day yesterday and punters will be hoping that the same thing happens today. LAPFORD LAD was a shock 40/1 winner earlier this month over course and distance and there’s every chance he can follow up today now he’s got his head in front. He’s up 5lbs but has a 3lb claim today and punters have backed him into near favourtism.

CARTMEL

Boruma

5.40pm
4/1 from 6/1

BORUMA is another course and distance winner we’ve seen money for today. He’s well treated on his best form and leading jockey Brian Hughes takes over in the plate. This doesn’t look a great race and it’s easy to see why punters have come for the experienced 9yo.

WARWICK

Definitely Vinnie

6.35pm
3/1 from 9/2

DEFINITELY VINNIE was second over this course and distance on his latest start earlier this month and, although he’s off the same mark, Lorcan Williams today claims 5lbs off of the 9 year old. He has a solid profile and it’s not hard to see why we’ve seen nibbles for him this morning!
