So Manchester City are going to win the league according to most experts and well, I have to agree at this point.

They are playing super football and look very good, their winning streak is superb.

But whilst City are hugely impressive, I have to look at the rest of the league – they are handing City this title on a plate, they don’t even have a reputable challenger.

The other teams are shoddy, they are just not being consistent – and that is City’s key at the moment, consistency.

Nobody should have the title in their hands at this point, at that is down to the rest of the league.

Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham – they should be much closer at this point, they have all slipped up and made City’s life that much easier.

Again the rest of the seem to be playing for a top-four place, for some reason they think that is an achievement – I will never believe that finishing fourth is something to be proud of, and the fact some of these teams believe it is, is nothing more than sad.

As it stands the title race will be over in record time, and then great we have the battle for a top-four place to look forward too…that is not good for the Premier League, but that is not City’s fault – it is their rivals for not pushing them.
