Antoine Griezmann insists he has not spoken to Aletico Madrid about leaving in January.
The French international resisted overtures from the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain in the summer, mainly due to the fact that Atletico were under a transfer ban – which stopped them from signing players.

Atletico can sign players again from January, having already done a deal for Diego Costa – but Griezmann is now being strongly linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano.
“I do not regret having stayed at Atletico. It was my choice, I am happy with my choice, even though I have gone seven games without scoring. I will score again soon,” said the 26-year-old.
It is understood that Griezmann’s release clause drops to just under £100million in the New Year – which has only intensified speculation about his future, but he insists he has not talked about it with Atletico.
“An exit agreement? I did not speak about that with the president.”
Although in his new biography, he admits: “In June, I extended my contract. I’m linked to the club until 2022.
“Although, I might be missing out on titles, I have everything here to be happy but that does not mean to say I won’t go one day.
“I haven’t made that decision. It all depends on various factors. I have nothing against England except for the weather. Manchester United is a possibility.”
Bookmakers list Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United as favourites, with BetVictor making them 6/1 co-favourites to land him.
“Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United are 6/1 co -favourites to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann although he still looks likely to stay with the Spanish club despite plenty of speculation continuing to mount,” said BetVictor’s Head of ante post Football Michael Triffitt.
